# Corrupt file permissions in awx\_task containers

Hi all,  
After successfully installing the AWX 14.1 (same with 13 & 15.0 too), as evident from below log:

PLAY RECAP \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*

there are errors reported in awx\_task logs for permission denied:  
**PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: ‘/etc/tower/conf.d/credentials.py’**

When checked in container, I see:  
**[root@awxlab installer]# docker exec -it awx\_task bash**

**bash-4.4# id**  
**uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root)**  
**bash-4.4# ls -lrt /etc/tower**  
**ls: cannot access ‘/etc/tower/SECRET\_KEY’: Permission denied**

Can somebody help me here, please ?

Ok, so this is fixed.  
Was providing custom values for all the \*\_dir variables which was failing everything. After I ran the installation with defaults, everything was OK.
