# Comprised environment variables

Hi,

Is there a way to lock the environment variables like tower\_inventory\_name so they cannot be modified by a prompt on extra variables?  
Because currently I just put tower\_inventory\_name: “potato” in the prompt and it will just work and modify that variable.
