# cisco.iosxr v13.0.0 Release!

Hey Everyone! We’ve now rolled out `cisco.iosxr` v13.0.0

The changes in this include:

- Breaking change: The gRPC connection plugin now requires `protobuf>=3.20.0` and `grpcio>=1.48.4` on the Ansible controller. Update the controller environment before using this plugin; other connection plugins are unaffected.
