# Cannot get latest changes for the UI

pulled in latest devel, executed installation playbook, still not a type ahead field. And there is nothing else explained in [https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/INSTALL.md#upgrading-from-previous-versions](https://github.com/ansible/awx/blob/devel/INSTALL.md#upgrading-from-previous-versions) so what am I missing? Clearly this documention is lacking something

Even after deleting all containers and images and reinstalling the problem still remains

To be a bit clearer:

The ui files won’t update after pulling in the latest devel. The “type ahead” field I mentioned is related to a bug that was fixed previously

It would also help If anyone knows where and how the frontend files are built and placed (none of my containers including the server itself has npm installed, so where is npm run build executed?)
