Hello, I have encountered a uri module digest authentication bug on ansible 2.2.0: [https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/16936](https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/16936) The issue will be resolved at 2.3 by the following pull request: [https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/18736](https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/18736) The release of stable 2.3 is two months away and I wonder if this fix can be pushed sooner to the upcoming 2.2.1 (or 2.2.2). I have applied the patch on my 2.2.0 deployment and it seems to work fine. Can this patch be pushed to 2.2.x? And if so, what is procedure? ---

The fix has already been merged and will be included in the upcoming 2.2.1 release. - Matt ---
