Hi - I am hitting the following error on windows 10 subsystem for linux (wsl) when running this command:

$ ansible ie1salx41711-apigw-intdev-green-proxy-2-devtest -i azure\_rm.py -m ping
ERROR! ‘utf8’ codec can’t decode byte 0xf8 in position 10: invalid start byte

when i run the python directly it looks good, producing the json (i truncated but u can see it outputs json):

$ python azure\_rm.py --list
{“Business\_Owner\_pxo22631”: [“gsk-us6-corp-apigw-vmclustercontrolnode-devtest”, “gsk-us6-corp-apigw-vmcontrolnode-devtest”,

$ ansible --version
ansible 2.9.2
config file = /home/pxo22631/gitrepos/api\_gateway\_infra/ansible/ansible.cfg
configured module search path = [u’/home/pxo22631/.ansible/plugins/modules’, u’/usr/share/ansible/plugins/modules’]
ansible python module location = /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/ansible
executable location = /usr/bin/ansible
python version = 2.7.17 (default, Nov 7 2019, 10:07:09) [GCC 7.4.0]

It works fine on a couple of other rhel and win10 wsl machines…

Thanks for your help
