Hello dear all,

probably I did miss something, but unable to find any announcements about that. What is a future of AWX/AWX Operator? There were no new releases since July 2024.

Thanks.

> Hi folks, For those of you who don’t know me, I’m John “Gundalow” Barker and have been part of the Ansible team at Red Hat for over 8 years. I am an engineering manager and currently responsible for the Ansible engineering team that focuses on the upstream community. You can find me on this Forum or Matrix as gundalow. In a [recent blog post](https://www.ansible.com/blog/upcoming-changes-to-the-awx-project/), we talked about some upcoming changes we’ll be making to the AWX project. This will sound familiar if you attended Red Hat Summit/Ansible Fest 2024. As we…

> Hi folks, In our [previous post](http://forum.ansible.com/t/streamlining-awx-releases/6894), we discussed the upcoming changes we’re making to the AWX project. Today, we’d like to dive deeper into one of the most significant changes: refactoring AWX into a pluggable, service-oriented architecture. Current State of AWX AWX is currently structured as a monolithic Django application. It consists of several entry points, each running as individual processes, including our API, Job Dispatcher, Event Processor, and Websocket subsystem. Alongside these, AWX re…

> Hi everyone, In a couple of recent posts, we’ve talked about [Streamlining AWX Releases](http://forum.ansible.com/t/streamlining-awx-releases/6894/15) as well as Refactoring AWX into a [Pluggable Services-Oriented Architecture](http://forum.ansible.com/t/refactoring-awx-into-a-pluggable-service-oriented-architecture/7404). Now we’d like to announce plans from Red Hat engineering to make changes to how AWX Operator gets released. First, let’s reiterate something that we said in a previous post because the changes I’m going to outline fit into that message: “While we want to make changes that enable more collaboration with our community, at the same tim…

> Hi folks, Welcome to the next post in our ongoing discussion around changes to modernize AWX. In the previous post, we talked about [removing the AWX Operator from OperatorHub.io](http://forum.ansible.com/t/upcoming-changes-to-awx-operator-installation-methods/7598) and relocating the Helm chart for the AWX Operator to a repository in the Ansible community org on GitHub. As the next step, we are sharing more details on the [pluggable, service-oriented architecture](http://forum.ansible.com/t/refactoring-awx-into-a-pluggable-service-oriented-architecture/7404) for AWX. Before we dig into the details, let’s recap some of the expected outcomes from the initial post announcing the…

> Hi everyone We’re continuing our journey toward a[pluggable, services-oriented architecture](http://forum.ansible.com/t/refactoring-awx-into-a-pluggable-service-oriented-architecture/7404) for AWX and want to make you aware of changes that Red Hat engineering teams plan to make with external authentication and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). As we mentioned [previously](http://forum.ansible.com/t/awx-ui-and-credential-types-transitioning-to-the-new-pluggable-architecture/8027), the new AWX architecture is designed to allow for code reuse across projects. The new pluggable architecture is also intended to minimize existing duplication of effort and decrease complexity for contributors. The change…
