Did you unset "ANSIBLE_STDOUT_CALLBACK": "yaml" when testing ANSIBLE_CALLBACK_RESULT_FORMAT? It sounds like ANSIBLE_STDOUT_CALLBACK is configuring the callback, so the ANSIBLE_CALLBACK_RESULT_FORMAT environment var should also be capable of working. I don’t use AWX, but I believe you can just click on the result to see it in a more useful format. The default display is just intended to give you an overview, not show every piece of task information that is available.
