# AWX Docker less setup

Hi Guys,  
I deployed AWX to Docker engine on a RHEL 7 box. Have couple of questions -

1. Can we configure AWX without requiring to setup its a containerized app?
2. How can we configure AWX as highly available system?

1. I don’t understand what you are asking with this question. Are you asking if it can be installed without Docker?
2. I’m working on a feature right now for running AWX inside of openshift: [https://github.com/ansible/awx/tree/scalable\_clustering](https://github.com/ansible/awx/tree/scalable_clustering)

I’m also interested in a “clean” installation of AWX without Docker.  
Is there any step by step guide?

Yes, can awx be installed without docker? are there any instructions for this.
