# awx cli add host to group

Hi,

I am trying to automate the additional of multiple hosts to my AWX inventory. I can create the hosts with all necessary variables but I can’t see how I can add them to their particular group using the awx cli.

Is it possible to add a hot to a group using awx cli? How do I do that?

Also is it possible to just pass a YAML/JSON file with all the necessary properties to the “awx hosts create” command?

Please help. Thanks in advance.
