# AWX 7.0.0 install not working properly

I had to re-install my awx instance. So I wiped everything (rm db) and ran the install scripts. This isn’t working properly. There was no admin user created. No demo templates and tokens aren’t working properly. Any advice on what to do? Also, tower-cli is not returning the name field for anything. So it’s making automation/backup rather difficult.

7.0 is two releases behind, you should look at install 9.x

Sounds like although you removed the DB, there is some awx config left behind so it’s in a state of flux.  
Remove everything and as suggested move to the latest release.
