I’d like to start jmeter on remote host and run the command in background but the command “&” doesn’t work

this playbook starts jmeter :
**_- hosts: JMETER\_REMOTE\_VM_**
**_sudo: True_**
**_user: xxxx_**
**_tasks:_**
**_- shell: chdir=~/apache-jmeter-2.13/bin/ bash jmeter-server_**

but this one doesn’t :
**_- hosts: JMETER\_REMOTE\_VM_**
**_sudo: True_**
**_user: xxxx_**
**_tasks:_**
**_- shell: chdir=~/apache-jmeter-2.13/bin/ bash jmeter-server &_**
