# ansible.netcommon v8.7.1 Release!

Hey Everyone! 👋 We’ve now rolled out `ansible.netcommon` v8.7.1

The changes in this include:

- Adds transcript recording support to `network_cli` for capturing command/response pairs over SSH (enable via `ANSIBLE_NETWORK_CLI_RECORD=1`), useful for CISSHGO-based offline integration testing.
- Fixes `netconf_rpc` returning `bytes` instead of `str` when display is set to pretty or xml.
- Includes a sanity tests ignore files fix on top of v8.7.0.
