# Ansible Netcommon 8.6.1 Release!

Hey Everyone! 👋  
We’ve now rolled out `ansible.netcommon` **8.6.1**

Note: 8.6.0 had a Galaxy hash mismatch from the release pipeline running twice on the same tag, please use **8.6.1**.

The changes in this include:

- `cli_config` — push config and detect changes via before/after running-config snapshots on platforms without onbox/generate diff (previously config could be silently skipped)
- Apply `diff_ignore_lines` on those snapshot diffs so volatile lines no longer force `changed=true` every run
- Fail clearly when connection capabilities can’t be determined, instead of treating that like “no diff support”
