# Ansible Modules for hadoop

Hi All,

I have been working for quite a while now on a set of modules for hadoop (hdfs and hive/impala mainly), that I found very useful and helped me greatly to automate my deployments and operations on hadoop. So I would really love to make my code part of ansible for others to benefit from it. I wanted to check first with you guys before submitting, since it involves lot of code.

My goal is actually to continue developing the hadoop related modules on ansible. Does that sound like something that could go into the ansible project ?
