I am looking for tips and guidance for configuring Cisco C1200/C1300 switches. I have not been able to use the `cisco.ios` ansible collection and I am trying to use `community.ciscosmb` collection, but I need to do a lot of rewriting and development to get it usable.

I also created an reddit post with some info from my ansible setup: [Reddit - The heart of the internet](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cisco/comments/1kktiuh/ansible_c1300_switches/)

Has anyone gotten the cisco.ios module to work with the C1200/C1300 switches?

The `cisco.ios` collection will not work on Cisco C1200/C1300 devices because they don’t run IOS/IOS-XE.
I believe your only option is `community.ciscosmb`.

Guess I have to write everything for these new switches 🥲
