Hello everyone,

We’re happy to announce the release of Ansible Community Execution Environment Minimal `2.21.5-2` and Ansible Community Execution Environment Base `2.21.5-2`!

## Supply Chain Security Improvements

Supply chain security has improved significantly in this release:

- Python dependencies are now generated via `uv pip compile` with SHA256 hashes. See the [example](https://github.com/ansible-community/images/blob/main/execution-environments/community-ee-base/requirements.txt).
- SBOMs are generated upon release for each Execution Environment image.
- Released Execution Environments now include SPDX JSON SBOM [attestations](https://github.com/ansible-community/images/attestations). See the [instructions](https://github.com/ansible-community/images/blob/main/execution-environments/README.md#verifying-released-image-sboms) for how to verify the attestation.

## What are Execution Environments?

Read the [Getting started with Execution Environments](https://docs.ansible.com/projects/ansible/latest/getting_started_ee/index.html) guide to learn how to benefit from running Ansible automation in containers.
