# Ansible + ACI very slow execution

Hi,

I wrote playbook that should assign static port mappings in 130 EPG for 25 interfaces and it took about 1 hour to execute.

Playbook :

- name: Do static port mapping  
include: do\_static\_binding.yaml  
with\_items: “{{ new\_interfaces }}”  
vars:  
subnets: “{{ subnets\_data }}”

**do\_static\_binding.yaml** - simple playbook which is using module:

aci\_static\_binding\_to\_epg

Where **new\_interfaces** - list of interfaces that should be added to EPGs

**subnets\_data** - list of dicts containing Tenant, AP, EPG

Is there is a way to speed up playbook execution ? As we want to use Ansible for all automation tasks, not Python scripts.

P.S

Simple python script that is doing API requests do same work for about 1-2 minutes.
