# Ansible 2.0.0 beta2 update

Hey all, we noticed a small packaging mistake with the beta2 tar.gz on our release site, in which the modules were not the latest available version. To remedy this, we’ve created a new tar.gz, available here:

[http://releases.ansible.com/ansible/ansible-2.0.0-0.4.beta2-1.tar.gz](http://releases.ansible.com/ansible/ansible-2.0.0-0.4.beta2-1.tar.gz)  
SHA256: 8195a0c05548b0267a1e37e36fc62aa47b962eab7b20f55c22df7c846061f733

If you’re testing beta2 from the original tar, you should switch to using this new file instead. If you’re checking out beta2 from git, no updates are required.

FWIW, it might be interesting to document and publish the release procedure.
