Hi,

I wish to ask if Ansible 1.7 has been officially released? I was searching for ansible 1.7 tarball from here: [http://releases.ansible.com/ansible/](http://releases.ansible.com/ansible/) but it is not there.

Any idea when tarball for Ansible 1.7 will be out?

Thank you.

Is there a particular reason you want ansible 1.7 – some slated features? the current latest version of ansible is 1.6.10, I believe: [https://pypi.python.org/pypi/ansible](https://pypi.python.org/pypi/ansible)

Hi Ehtesh,

I wish to have ansible 1.7 for its windows support features.

We’re looking at cutting 1.7 in about a week, though windows will still be in beta status when it releases.

This doesn’t mean much, just that there’s no commercial support for it yet - but also that we are also that the community around it is speeding up a lot as referenced by some recent pull requests and activity on this list.

Many people do run the latest development ansible and keep up with that, should you be interested, check out the “running from source” instructions on the website.
