Hi Anatoly, I believe I have a fix for this, if you’d like to test it out (pushed to devel now):

Confirm that 1.6.10 fixes that. I wasted a lot of time before writing
to the list. =)

From
[https://github.com/ansible/ansible/blob/v1.6.10/CHANGELOG.md#1610-and-the-cradle-will-rock---jul-25-2014](https://github.com/ansible/ansible/blob/v1.6.10/CHANGELOG.md#1610-and-the-cradle-will-rock---jul-25-2014)
\* Improved unicode handling when splitting args

It is a regression in 1.6.9.

[https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/8300](https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/8300) - can't wait to see fix
landed in Debian.

Actualy, my system already updated to 1.6.10. I don't how did that happen
considering that [https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=ansible](https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=ansible) still
lists 1.6.9
