Just wanted to let you know about a quick update release we’ve made to improve ansible-galaxy CLI a little.

It now will read your ansible.cfg “roles\_path” and automatically download roles to the configured location so you don’t have to specify it, and also makes a template that includes a sample README, and a slightly modified metadata file (with a default license of BSD, which you can change).

This all ensures the roles you upload are more likely to be fleshed out, and easier to submit.

This is now available on [ansibleworks.com/releases](http://ansibleworks.com/releases) and also on PyPi, as well as applied to the development branch.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing all the great roles people submit to [http://galaxy.ansibleworks.com/](http://galaxy.ansibleworks.com/)

Ansible 1.4.4 has been released to fix a minor issue with newer versions of pip dropping the "—use-mirrors" parameter.

The release has been pushed to [http://ansibleworks.com/releases/](http://ansibleworks.com/releases/) and to pypi.
