# ADD  NEW ROUTE TO EXISTING ROUTE TABLE IN VPC

How would I add a new route to an existing route table in a VPC?

There’s been some work done by R. Estelle (@erydo) to split out route table functionality from the ec2\_vpc module:

On top of these changes, I have a PR that adds exactly the functionality you’re looking for:
