You don’t need to be a programmer to help!
- The easiest way to help is by joining the forum and participating. Be sure to introduce yourself!
- Answer questions on the forum
- Participate in project discussions to help shape future releases
- Join the Matrix chat rooms and say hi!
- Go to an Ansible event, be a speaker, or even run an event yourself
- Write a community blog post about how you use Ansible
Found a problem with Ansible?
Found an issue? We have hundreds of GitHub repositories, so finding the right one can be intimidating for new community members. Open a topic in our forum Help category and we’ll help you figure it out (and where to raise a GH issue, if you wish to)
Want to become a developer / documentation writer?
Whether you have a small fix to drop in, documentation to improve, or want to to be involved in the community in a sustained way, the Project Discussions category is your starting point. Here you can ask about where to send a patch, why a project is built a certain way, or give feedback on our open discussions.
You can also look at the list of Working Groups to get a feel for the existing teams in the community, and if you wish to participate you can ask a member of the group for more information.
